How do proofs work at Promogator?

After you order and send your logo, our in-house design team makes a free digital proof showing your logo on the actual product. Most proofs arrive within one business day. You review it, ask for free changes as often as needed, and approve it. Nothing goes to production until you approve.

A proof is a digital mock-up of your finished product. It lets you catch mistakes on screen, before anything is printed or stitched.
What the proof shows
Each proof is made by a designer, not dropped into an automatic template. It typically includes:
- Your logo on the actual product in the color you chose
- Imprint size and placement
- PMS (Pantone) colors
- The imprint method
- An order summary with quantity, unit price, setup fees and total
If you do not know your PMS numbers, you do not need to. We match the closest ones and list them on the proof. Our designers also redraw or vectorize logos for free, so a low-quality file is not a blocker.
How approval works
You can approve in your account, by replying to the proof email, or from your phone after the text alert. Every approval is recorded in the order history.
If something is off, tell us what to change. Revisions are unlimited and free. Need it faster? A same-day proof for an urgent order is available on request.
Your order status page also keeps the proof history, so you can look back at earlier versions.
What to check before you approve
- Spelling and numbers. Read every word, phone number and web address.
- Colors. Confirm the PMS numbers and product color.
- Size and placement. Make sure the logo sits where you want it.
- Quantity and totals. Check the order summary.
Two things to keep in mind. Your screen may show colors a little differently than the finished item, and the final product can differ slightly from the proof because of the material and the imprint method. Also, once you approve, we are not responsible for errors that were on the approved proof. Take the extra minute to review it.
What happens after approval
Production time starts once the proof is approved and the order is paid. Approved business accounts on terms start as soon as the proof is approved. Production days count business days only, and shipping time is extra. You then get updates as your order moves through production and ships.
How to approve faster
Send vector art, include PMS colors up front, and review the proof as soon as it arrives. A quick approval is the easiest way to keep your in-hands date safe.
