Design your own tees right in your partner portal. Each design becomes your own product with one SKU per colour and size, ready to list on your store. There is no minimum and no set-up fee.
Start from On Demand → Products → + Create a product.
Step 1: Pick a shirt
Choose a blank shirt we have set up for print on demand. Each card shows the print method (DTG, full colour), the colours and sizes, the production time and your NET price from. Press Start designing.
Step 2: Design it
The Online Designer shows the real print area on the shirt as a green box, at true size.
Print areas (switch on the left):
| Print area | Size |
|---|---|
| Front | 12″ × 16″ |
| Back | 12″ × 16″ |
| Left chest | 4″ × 4″ |
| Sleeve | 3″ × 3.5″ |
One print, front or back, is included in the NET price. Each extra print area adds a small fee per shirt, shown next to it.
Add your artwork. Upload PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, AI or EPS files, up to 20 MB each. Your files stay private to your account.
Add text. Pick a font, size, colour, bold or italic.
Place it. Drag to move, pull a corner to resize. The width in inches and the print quality show as you go. Centre lines it up across the print area. Anything outside the green box is cut off.
Print quality is checked live, from your artwork's resolution at the size you place it:
| Grade | Resolution at print size | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Excellent | 300 DPI or more | Sharp |
| Good | 200–299 DPI | Prints well |
| Low | 150–199 DPI | Prints soft |
| Blocked | Below 150 DPI | Make it smaller or upload a larger file |
Vector files (SVG, PDF, AI, EPS) and text print sharp at any size. For a full 12″ × 16″ front at 300 DPI, use artwork about 3,600 × 4,800 pixels.
Choose the colours to offer: click a colour to add it and preview your design on it; click the colour you are previewing again to remove it.
Your work saves as you go. Press Save & continue: we make mockups of your design on every colour you chose, front and back.
Step 3: Name and SKUs
- Item name: what your customers see.
- Description (optional).
- SKU base, for example
ST-WILD-SPT. We add a colour code and the size:ST-WILD-SPT-BLK-L. - Colour codes: up to 4 letters per colour; each colour needs its own code.
- Sizes offered: untick any size you do not want to sell.
The list on the right shows every SKU, yours next to ours, and updates as you type.
Step 4: Price
For each group of sizes you see your NET (the shirt with one print, plus any extra print areas), a suggested retail price, and your margin at the price you type. Use suggested retail fills in the suggested prices. A preview shows what your customer sees.
Step 5: Approve and save
Check the mockups, the print areas and their quality, your SKUs and your prices. Then confirm that:
- every order of this product will be printed exactly like this; and
- you own or have the rights to the artwork, names and likeness in it.
Press Save & start selling. The design is locked: every order prints exactly as you approved it.
The print check
Every new design version gets automatic checks and a look from our team before it can take orders, usually the same business day:
- the artwork is inside the print area;
- the resolution is good enough;
- the background is transparent (a JPG prints as a box);
- no text is smaller than 8 pt;
- the colours suit the print method;
- the artwork does not use third-party logos, names or likenesses.
We make 300 ppi print files from your original artwork. If we need a change, we tell you exactly what on the design page, and you fix it in the designer and approve it again.
Start selling
As soon as the design passes, its SKUs appear on your Products tab, in your CSV download and in the API, with pictures of your design on every colour. List them on your store (see Put products on your store).
Change a design
Open the design and press Edit design. That starts version 2 as a copy; version 1 keeps selling until version 2 passes the print check. Our SKUs stay the same, so orders keep working.
