What you pay for
Each order costs:
- the NET price of each item (decoration included; for your own designs, one print included plus any extra print areas);
- shipping for the order;
- sales tax, only where we must collect it.
There is no monthly fee, no sign-up fee, and no card surcharge.
How you pay
Choose on the Billing tab of your partner portal.
Card on file. Pick one of the cards saved in your Promogator account and give us permission to charge it for your On Demand orders. We charge it when we accept each order. If the card is declined, no order is created and nothing is charged; fix the card and send the order again.
Invoice terms. Approved accounts can be invoiced instead. Each order is invoiced when it is placed, and you pay the invoice by its due date.
Every order has an invoice in your portal, and from the API with GET /orders/{id}/invoice.
Order limits
To protect your account, each partner has a maximum order value and a maximum number of orders per day. If an order goes over a limit, it is refused before anything is charged, with a message saying which limit. Ask your account manager to raise them as you grow.
Sales tax
We collect sales tax only on orders shipped to California, Nevada and Texas. Orders to every other state have no sales tax from us.
- In Nevada and Texas the tax is worked out on what you pay us.
- In California drop shipments are taxed on the retail price, so the New order page and the API ask for your retail price. If you leave it out, we use your NET price plus 10%.
Resale certificates
If you resell and hold a resale certificate for one of those states, upload it with your request (or send it to your account manager). Once we approve it, we stop charging sales tax on orders shipped to that state.
